Seclusion and a richness of texture and materials in this London family garden.

From the main terrace, a new sinuous path in dutch clay pavers – with a corten steel pergola walkway – leads to a curved seating area with a circular corten water feature nestled within planting. A modern stumpery includes charred timber cubes and lush shade planting, and a new black gazebo at the back of the garden creates a new area to relax and enjoy the space. Planting included strong architectural shrubs and grasses, and at the end of the garden a row of large Magnolia grandiflora to provide screening and privacy.
